Hi SSIndia,

Thank you for your advice.

How can we create 'EA command' ?

The purpose is to be able to open the package diagram with List View as default by setting ( Property -> switch to Diagram tab -> check 'Always Open as Element List' in Mode compartment)

You might think it is easy to select the Pakcage itself and select package browser.

But our reviewers are not familiar with EA.
It will be useful to show list view as a default if needed.

I wanna display the diagram utilizing the list view with
'Nested package Content': ON
and
'Show Hierarchy' : ON

Both setting above is clickable in Package Browswer, but list view of a diagram is NOT clickable.

Does EA has these capability ?

Can EA export Gantt view to MicroSoft Project file ?
Including 'Project Management' related properties (e.g., assigned resource, start/end date, progress)

Thanks RoyC for investigation.
Since I can't upgrade without IT guys' approval. I'll create the Interaction through the Project Browser and drag it onto others.

I also tried the latter things you mentioned, but it does not work well.

Anyway, I proceed to work using your former advice.

Thanks Geert, VKN RoyC,KP. ;)

Hi VKN,

The  'Additonal' is not exist in 'Visible Toolbox Pages' window.
Are there things to become it selectable ?

1. In the Diagram Toolbox click on More tools and select UML | Interaction. ->OK confirmed
On the Toolbox:
2. Click on the [-] sign to collapse Interaction   -> OK
3. Click on the [-] sign to collapse 'Interaction Relationships' ->OK
4. Click on the
  • sign to expand Additional -> not appear.  Common is under 'Ineraction Relationships'.

    Toolbox shows like below;

    Toolbox
                             More tools...
    - Interaction
      Actor
      Lifeline
      Boundary
      Control
      Entity
       Fragment
       Endpoint
       Diagram Gate
      State/Continuation
    - Interaction Relationships
      4 kind of arrows
    -Common
       Note, constraint, Text,.....

Where can I find the additonal page of the Toolbox you mentioned below?

---<quoted from RoyC email>---
- Open your diagram.
- In the Diagram Toolbox click on More tools and select UML | Interaction.
- Expand the Additional page of the Toolbox; it contains the Interaction element.
- Drag the element onto your diagram.

Hi Geert,

Thank you for your concrete advice  ;)
I succeeded to make the clicktrough work !
Thank you again!  :D

But still now I don't know how to crete an interacation as a element from ToolBox although I understand to do it under class on Project Browser pane.
Toolbox does not show 'Interaction' as one element.
What I operate was ToolBox | Click 'more tools' | Select 'interaction', then ToolBox shows Interaction classified elements, e.g., actor, lifline, something like that. but  'Ineraction element' itself does not apear.
Kindly correct my operations above ?

How did you create the Interaction elements in the package diagram ' Interactions'  located  under Systems Engineering | Requiremnets Model | Interactions in Example Model ?

it's a thing I want to do.

How should I operate to create Interaction as a element?
ToolBox does not show 'Interaction' as a element although I can choose 'Interaction' category and some elements in interacaion category are selectable like actor, lifline, something like that.
In this example, there is no class in project browser pane. hence I have no idea how to create it projet browser.
