Diagram Filter to be a property of a diagram
« on: January 11, 2013, 04:23:33 am »
The diagram filters, useful as they are, appear to be global to a model.  Once you select a filter, it applies to all diagrams in your model.  I'd like to have one diagram, shallow copied a number of times, and then highlight different aspects based on a different filter for each diagram.

As the diagram filtering is carried forward to the HTML output (and may be document generation), this would be a useful feature.

Best case would be the ability for a filter still to be global, but for a diagram specific filter to override any global filters set.

Agreed, I would see value in this feature which would help with visual business discussions.

I've submitted a formal feature request for this, but don't hold your breath.
