Order Package Contents
Ordering elements is very important when it comes to structuring your model, especially Packages. Report documents honor any custom ordering when printing documentation. You can change the order of elements listed in the Browser window.
By default, elements are first listed in:
- Order of type, then
- Order of set position, then
- Alphabetically
You can use the Browser window toolbar arrows to move an element up or down within its type, but not outside its type. This means you can re-sequence Packages or diagrams or Use Cases, but you cannot mix up elements.
However, you can change this default behavior to allow elements to be re-ordered within the Package, regardless of type.
