Import Visio Diagrams

Can someone explain what values should be used to import BPMN2.0 visio diagrams into EA? The import asks for Diagram Type, Object Type and Connector Type. What values should be used? Can the import into EA identify the different BPMN objects like StartEvent , Task and EndEvent?

Unfortunately the Free Visio Importer add-in does not support import of BPMN diagrams.  It's not able to distinguish between the different types.  An updated version of this add-in is included in the MDG Integration for Office add-in which might handle BPMN diagrams better, but I'm not 100% sure.

If you want to try, install the MDG Office add-in from the below page.  Maybe uninstall the old "MDG Link for Microsoft Visio" add-in first to avoid possible confusion between the two versions.
