Sparx Systems wins the 2005 Consensus Software Award


Sparx Systems has won the prestigious Australian Consensus Software Award for its success with Enterprise Architect. Sparx Systems won the national award last Thursday night (21st April) at a Gala Dinner held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney. Over 200 guests including The Hon. Senator Helen Coonan, representatives from the 24 finalists companies and key personnel from the Australian IT Industry attended the evening.

The independent judging panel was drawn from several leading companies in the IT industry. Enterprise Architect was identified on the basis that “… the company demonstrated ongoing product innovation resulting in increased performance benefits with each version released. Sparx Systems presented well by addressing the clear market opportunity for the Enterprise Architect product.”

The Consensus Software Award evaluates Australian developed software based on the 3 broad categories of Innovation, Performance and Potential. Winners of the Award are required to demonstrate exemplary qualities in every category prior to being considered for such a prestigious accolade.
